Learning to dance Modern Jive is fun and easy

It's great fun, easy to learn, exhilarating, addictive and you don't need to bring a partner. It can be danced to any modern music and is a great way to get fit!

As a partner dance, it draws on many other forms such as the traditional ballroom steps, post-war jive, modern Argentine tango and salsa. The big difference is that there is less foot-work to worry about and the learning time is much, much quicker.

We will have you dancing on your first evening!

Do I need to bring a partner?

No you don't! However, it is always fun to learn to dance with someone you can practice with or with friends.

Cost and booking

£7 drop-in, or £30 for a 5-week pass (does not include courses).

To book in advance, please book online. For more information, please email info@mijive.co.uk or call 01296 658891.
