We run a rolling 10 Week beginner program. Start any week of your choosing
Anyone can learn Modern Jive. It's great fun, easy to learn, exhilarating, addictive and you don't need to bring a partner. It can be danced to any modern music and is a great way to get fit!
As a partner dance, it draws on many other forms such as the traditional ballroom steps, post-war jive, modern Argentine tango and salsa. The big difference is that there is less foot-work to worry about and the learning time is much, much quicker.
We will have you dancing on your first evening!
Do I need to bring a partner?
No you don't! However, it is always fun to learn to dance with someone you can practice with or with friends.

Back to School Sunday Tea Dance, 12th September
Please join us for our next Tea Dance, which is on Sunday 12th September at Botolph Claydon Village Hall from 5pm until 9pm.
We have a great dance floor, licensed bar after 7pm, tea/coffee and plenty of cakes. Normal entry price £10 (£5 concs). No need to book.
It's a School dress code for our back to school party, though how you interpret that is entirely up to you!
Tango Mini Workshop from 4pm-5pm.
Before the tea dance we will be teaching "Introduction to Tango for Modern Jivers (Workshop 2)". In this mini workshop, we will be build upon the basic Tango footwork and patterns we studied last month and introduce more turrns and footwaork that you can bring into your Modern Jive dancing. Cost is £18 (£17 if you book online), which includes entry to the Tea Dance.

Fast track your dancing: Private classes are also available at Waddesdon Village Hall for beginners who want a step up, or for those already familiar with modern jive who want to take their dancing to the next level.
